Pan Roasted Chickpeas with Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oat milk
- 1 15oz can cooked chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp sweet smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 cup plain hummus
- sea salt
- black pepper
Preparation
Garlic Sauce
- Add a 1/4 cup of plain hummus into a bowl,
- Shred in 1 large clove of garlic, 1 tsp fresh lemon juice, 1 tbsp oat milk and season with sea salt & black pepper, whisk together until well combined
Chickpeas
- heat a large nonstick fry pan with a medium heat
- Add in chickpeas, olive oil, paprika, cumin powder
- Season with sea salt & black pepper
- Pan fry between 4 to 5 minutes, then transfer to a shallow bowl,
