Baked Chard Stems with Butter and Parmesan


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chard stems, sliced vertically ½" or so wide
  • salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup grated parmesan

Preparation

  1. Boil chard stems with salt added about 8' or till almost tender
  2. Layer chard stems down in a criss-cross pattern in a oiled baking dish, adding cheese between chard layers
  3. Bake at 400℉ until the chard is very tender and the top is lightly browned, about 25'
  4. Serve immediately, enjoy!
