Maple Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 ea- medium shallots or small onion
- 6 ea or 1 lb medium carrots
- ½ cup water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch ground nutmeg
- taste salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
Preparation
- Saute shallots or onion in butter til golden, about 4'
- Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 10'
- Un-cover, raise heat, cook till liquid thickened, about 3'-4'
