Leek, Ricotta and Walnut Pizza

1 lb | Whole wheat pizza dough |
1 tbsp | cornmeal |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
4 cups | leeks, thinly sliced |
½ cup | ricotta cheese |
¼ cup | grated parmesan cheese |
¼ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | pepper |
1 ea | garlic clove, minced |
2 tbsp | walnuts, coarsely chopped |
Preparation
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface
- Saute the leeks in the olive till almost carmelized, cool to room temperature
- Combine cheeses, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl then spread onto the dough
- Top with the leeks then sprinkle over with the walnuts
- Bake at 450℉ for 10 minutes or so, 15 minutes max
